Fun in a Tub!!!

Today me and Morgan had a pj day at home. I caught up on lots and lots of laundry, we played and did homework (her workbooks), and watched Peter Pan (her new favorite). And of all the things that we/she played with today this is what she had the most fun with......

Her toy tub minus toys! Imagine that.

Too cute in her Little Red Riding Hood jammies.
Always posing.
Look Mommy I fit all the way down! Too stinkin' cute.
I found this next picture when I was looking for todays pictures in my folders. Last weekend when it was so cold outside and we stayed inside most of the day I decided to dry Morgan's bangs over to the side. I am thinking about growing her bangs out......

What do you ladies think??????

Have a great week and stay tuned. I saved some really cute pics from today for later.

Hiding God's Word In Our Heart

I bought a book that I had read about on several blogs a month or so ago and had been waiting until the New Year to start it with Morgan. It is called "My ABC Bible Verses." We started New Years day and little did I know just how quickly she would take to it. She memorized her first verse the first night and the reference the second night. I had thought that we would maybe do 2 a month.

Just in case you didn't understand it is "A soft answer turns away wrath" Proverbs 15:1. She is so proud of herself that she is telling everyone and says that she can't wait to go to school and tell the teachers what A stands for!

Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year Girls! Morgan wore her hat around the house all day yesterday. Here are some of the silly pics that I took of her throughout the day.

As you can see Morgie is thrilled about 2009.

Of course Miss Kit had to get in on the action as well!

Silly girl..............

You can just see the excitement over 2009 in her BIG eyes!

I guess that Miss Morgan knows the same secret that I do..........2009 is going to be a very, very good year for her and her Mommy. I see a lot of reasons to celebrate in our near future!!!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

I am SOOOO behind blogging. I have to play catch-up after Christmas with both posting and reading all of my buddies blogs too! Here are just a few pictures until then.

This is Morgan at her school party. She was Vixon, I'm thinking that that wasn't unintentional either....... But at least she was a really cute one!

These are Morgan two new BFF's. Teddy and Snoopy, both given to her by my friends at work. She takes them EVERYwhere!!!!

And one last one..........

From our house to yours,

God Bless & Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Our last CASA Christmas party

Saturday was our last CASA Christmas party. It is always fun. They have lunch, crafts, and Santa for the kids. The kids love it and have so much fun. This is Morgan before we left to go.

I love her little candy cane dress. She has been waiting for a while to get to wear it.
Here is Morgan with her BFF dor the day, her case worker Casi. Casi had a baby this year too. So, Miss Audrey was in on all the fun this year!
Miss Casi and her two best girls! (Caron notice Bitty's clothes???)

Morgan even got to hold Audrey. All she has talked about since then is being a big sister......

Morgan and Bitty Baby seeing Santa. Morgan was too busy checking out that big stocking to look at Santa!

Our resource worker Gabby dressed up as an elf. It was great, what a good sport.
Morgan with her CASA worker, Ms Harriet.

And last but not least my good friends in the foster parent world, Brian & Ashley. They had Madison for a short while after me before she went to her family. They have really been through it this year and I admire them so much. They currently have the 2 sisters that you see below. They are adorable!

It was a great day and the kids had a blast!

Oops I did it AGAIN!!!!!!

Well ladies, she has went and did it again! That is cut her hair. Can you believe it??? The second time in 11 months. Her hair had just kinda got "normal" again from the January incident. She did it exactly the same way she did then. I still can't quite figure out how in a classroom of 9 kids with no less than 2 adults my child managed to do this, Mama isn't exactly happy about the supervision going on. I don't have any before pictures because I took her as soon as I picked her up to try to get it fixed. Luckily I had gotten her Christmas pictures and Santa pictures done a few days before. Praise the LORD! Here are her pictures immediatly following her haircut.
I know that you think not so bad right......

Your still thinking not so bad I know. You can somewhat faintly tell on your right side that there is that one piece of hair that comes to the bottom of her ear......well alot of her hair is that length... You just can't see it really good.

Fortunately it doesn't look so bad if it is even partially up or just fixed.

And with her hair up on the cut side.

None of these pictures do the justice that you can only see in person. I cried this time too. I didn't cry the first time. I just keep thinking that I hope that she has a decent hair cut by the time that she turns 10!!!!!!!! I'm thinking that it just isn't going to happen though because she is so proud of the fact that she cut it......makes me mad just thinking about hearing her laugh about it. I mean seriously......SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! My only satisfaction was that Santa called me and told me to tell Morgan that she wouldn't be getting a doll fixer hair for Christmas.....ha ha ha!

Disclaimer......I just want all of you girlies to know that Morgan's hair is and has ALWAYS been a BIG problem at school. Like she is OCD about it. For real, like I am soooo not kidding. So, that coupled with the fact that we are having some problems with her class is what you can attribute the unaccustomed frustration in this blog.
