Christmas Review

Can I start off by saying that I can not believe that Christmas has already come and gone! Morgan keeps on saying 0 more days till Santa....more like 364 baby. It really flew by this year, but we had so much fun and Morgan made it a blast. It was really fun to see it through her eyes this year and she has loved every single thing about it. She loves Christmas lights, Santa, Frosty, and her two favorites The Grinch and Christmas Carols! This girl loves her some Jingle Bells.... and basically any other Christmas song. She has been belting them out for about a month now, I just don't know how to tell her that it is time to move on. She is singing Jingle Bell Rock or Happy Birthday to Jesus or her very favorite Santa Clause is coming to town pretty much 24/7.
She was so cute last Sunday before church with her Christmas dress on that I had to take some pictures and ended up wishing that I had had these for the 'ole Christmas cards.

And I just love this one, she looks like such a little doll.

Not going to overload ya on all the unwrapping of the present photos, but I just love her expression in this one. It is a big girl necklace with a cross on it like Mommy's and boy did she love it.

This next one is Christmas morning in her Christmas PJ's with her new Bitty Baby. This girl loves her babies!

Me and the family on Christmas morning. We broke tradition a little this year and did presents and breakfast at my house on Christmas morning. Which allowed me to stay in my nice comfy sweatshirt and workout pants with no make-up! Merry Christmas to me!

After a long morning of presents and fun this is my tuckered out Snow White and her bestest, bestest buddy in the whole world Molly Polly watching the Disney World Christmas Parade.

I will leave you with a pic of my most favorite thing that Morgan got, her American Girl Bitty Baby. Beth convinced me and Angela that these were simply MUST HAVES....and I have to agree. I am hooked. I love the whole logic behind American Girl and the girls just love the store. Ane the babies are just too stinkin' cute, as Morgan would say.

I hope that all of you girls had a the most Blessed Christmas ever!!!

Morgan's Preschool Party

Wednesday, I got to go to Morgan's little preschool class party. It was pretty fun and funny! Here is a video of a few of the songs that the class did for the parents and lots of other teachers who came in to watch.

This is a picture of one of the songs that I didn't video. It was so cute because it was kind of like the sticks that the big kids do at our church, and you could tell that Morgan was so proud of herself.

This is Morgan with Trey. Trey says that him and Morgan are "bestest buds forever and ever!". Too cute! And Trey was getting a little baby sister the next morning, how exciting!

Ms Kim was kind enough to take this next picture of me and Morgan in front of their classroom tree.

And this is Morgan with her teachers Mrs Sweeney, Ms Kim, and Mrs O'Brian.

Too much fun, I tell ya! Hope all you girls are having a great week and are ready for the BIG day!

Visit to Santa & Christmas Pics

Well, this is going to be a post full of pics. I had a couple of days off last week and it was a good thing! I ended up looking at another school for Morgan one day and having a conference with her teacher another and Friday we headed to the mall to see Santa. Morgan was sooo excited she could hardly stand it! Here are some pics of her from Friday.

Too cute!!! And believe me she knows it! She heard it so many times that day that she started answering Yes when people would say "do you know how beautiful you are?"

Yep, I would say that she knows it!

She loves Santa.....I mean L-O-V-E-S him! Here are a few of the pics that I snapped while she was sitting with him. I hope that she is telling him that she wants a kitchen and not a horse!! I seriously want to have a pre-parent meeting so that he knows horses will not fit down our chimney...wink wink!!!

And I just love this one! I almost like it better than the one that they took for me.

When I went to get Morgan off of his lap Santa looked at me and said "It just doesn't get more perfect than that." Well Santa I for one would have to agree!!! She worries about Santa too. She will be playing and all of a sudden will run over and ask "Mommy, we got food for Santa right?" When I respond yes she says "and the reindeers too right, mommy?" Of course sweetie! Then tonight I told her that it was going to be cold to stay under the covers so Jack Frost wouldn't get her she said, "Santa won't get cold right Mommy?" How sweet!!!

Moving on, these are some of her Christmas pics that I had made earlier. I don't know why I haven't posted them yet. They turned out pretty good considering this is that day that she started to get sick and was diagnosed the next day with pneumonia! Her little eyes look sick in this one.

This was my favorite for some reason. I liked that she was standing up.

And then this one was too cute for me to resist also.

If you guys are still reading at this point......Have a great week!!!!

Our 1st Christmas Party

Saturday we had the DFACS Christmas Party. I kind of dreaded going, but it proved to be a great time. They had giant gingerbread men at the door. Of course, I couldn't get Morgan to be still for a pic.

Then they had crafts and cookie decorating to entertain the kids. Morgan decorated one ornament and then it was off to decorate cookies. They gave each kid 2 cookies and there was all kinds of icing and sprinkles also. Morgan took a bite before she ever started decorating. Everyone there has been told the stories of the eater that she is so they were all on the floor laughing. Here she is hard at work.

And then of course she had to taste the finished product....who are we kidding she polished both of the cookies off!

After that they started screaming that Santa was almost there and all the kids went running outside. Ok, here is where I regret that I was talking and forgot my camera....cause Santa arrived with a police escort in a Corvette!!!! I was cracking up.

After Morgan waited, not so patiently, in line to sit in the jolly ole man's lap she finally got to the front. Where they handed her this HUGE stocking with her name on it....seriously it was bigger than her! Let me see if I can remember everything in it...an Old Navy hat, mittens, house shoes, and stuffed penguin. There was also a blanket, a baby doll, Hello Kitty purse, and Candy Land!

Then, her wait paid off she got to see Santa.

Finally she says! I am sure at this exact minute she is telling him that she wants a kitchen......and a horse. Yes, I said a horse. And she does mean a real one. What I can only hope is that Santa told her the same thing that I do. A horse will not fit on the sleigh or down the chimney!!!!

We did get to see little Madison again. Her foster parents recently got a little boy too. His name is Triston and boy was he a cutie! Here is a pic of the girls that we took.

Then we got this shot before we left. This is one of Morgan's most favorite people in the whole world, Miss Casi. Casi is Morgan's case worker and we love her to death! You can probably tell by Morgie's smile that she adores Miss Casi.

Me and Morgie had a great time...well except for those tantrums that she threw waiting on her turn to see Santa!
