Angela, over at Party of Five, has been my BFF since we were like 5. I can't exactly remember when we became friends, I just always remember us being friends. Not many people can say that they have stuck with a friend since they were 5, but me & Ang have. She has been with me through thick & thin, all the good, and all the bad too, and there has been plenty of both!! I don't know what I would do without her. So, I have said all of that to say this....

Happy 30th Birthday, Ang!!!

I love ya girlie! I hope that we have 30 more years of friendship ahead of us! That should take us to your grandkids.....scary thought!!!!! Cheers to you, I hope that you had a great day and I can't wait to go out on Friday!

Backyard Fun in the Sun

Today, me & Bethie had our first playdate with all 4 kids. Beth came over and let Livi & Morgan play in her pool and in her new sprinkler ring. It was GREAT! Me & Beth have hardly seen each other at all since she had Zach and I got Madison. So, a nice day of R&R and watching the girls play was just what we needed. They had a blast and the sprinkler was hilarious. Livi was such a little dare-devil in the pool that she gave her mommy about 5 heartattacks!

Here are the girls in the sprinkler.....or shall we say drinking from the sprinkler.....they seemed to think that it was a huge water fountain. Me & Beth were hysterical laughing at the two of them!

I just couldn't leave the little ones out. This is little man Zach.... who was such an angel today. He slept almost the entire time right inside where we could see him.

On the other hand here is Miss Priss in a rare 5 seconds of dream filled bliss......the rest of the time I was holding her.

This has been a great weekend for me and the girls. I hope that everyone else had fun too!

Little Maddie

I feel like Maddie is getting neglected on the blog so I am devoting this post to her. I have now had Madison 2 weeks and she is getting a little better....maybe. She still cries ALOT. However, her daycare says she is a perfect angel. Guess I am doing something wrong? They say that all parents say that so that makes me feel a wee bit better. She went last Thursday to get her first shots and didn't do too horribly bad. This week has been devoted to trying to find the right combination of ozs of formula per hours. I think that I almost have it down. She still sleeps in the swing every night.....what can I say....I gotta get some rest. My mom went and got Maddie a Bumbo seat. She has to be in the mood but she will occasionally sit in it. Here are a few pictures of Maddie chillin' around the house.

I think that Maddie is still trying to figure out if she really like this thing or not.

I put her in it the other night so that I could take a bath. So, I put her in the bathroom with me and her little head looked like a typewriter going as fast as it could. I should have taken video with my camera but I was too busy laughing my head off at her. It was adorable.

Birthday Extravaganza!!!!

Boy, was this weekend busy. We had 3 3yr old birthday parties! Three cousins turned 3 within 5 days of each other. Saturday morning we had Austin's party at Pools Mill Park. It was a hoppin' Diego time! Then at 4 we had Morgan's Cinderella bash. Sunday was Israel's Wiggles swim party. I love how they all have their own individual taste at this age!

Yesterday was Morgan's 3rd birthday. While the BIG Cinderella Bash is Saturday we had a cookout and my mom made her a cake last night. Since with this girl.....it is ALL about the cake!!!! If you ask her when do you turn 3 Morgan?.......She will always respond "on my birthday cake". Too funny!

Now it is time for presents!!! My sister and the kids got her a bikini (thanks Molly), the cutest Cinderella outfit, and Morgans very favorite present.......a car seat for her baby!!!

My Mom & Dad got her the cutest Dora tricycle that makes all these cute sounds but I don't have any pictures....

Anywho, a fun time was had by all and now on to the BIG bash on Saturday!!

Random Craziness!!!!

Ok, so I never said that being a single working mom would be easy with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. Puh-lease...I certainly ain't that crazy! But what Madison brings to my life I wouldn't take for anything. She is a little blessing.

Yesterday was CRAZY, and I am just going to say that and say that this is what the day did to Morgan...

This was after I had parked in the garage around 6:30......and she went straight to bed for the night and never made a peep!

Today, I took Maddie to the Dr and she weighs 11lb and 14ozs and is 22 inches long. The doc said that she thinks that she has colic and reflux......guess I am getting paid back for that 9 months of non-stop screaming that I hear about all the time. By the second night Maddie had already found her favorite place to sleep...

Tonight I put her swing to use and she loves it!

Sorry this is so random but that is about all that I can do for now....sorry ladies.

PS Bethie had Zach yesterday. Both Mom & Zach are doing great. Zach weighed 7lbs 11ozs and was 20inches long. Beth said that he looks like Livi to her especially his expressions. I can't wait to meet him. I just can't swing it with both girls but I may be waiting on their doorstep Sunday when they get home!!!!

The Three M's......

My nice little family of two suddenly became a family of 3 quite quickly today! Almost 4 months to the day of getting Morgan I have now got two daughters. Today 3 month old Madison came to join us. This is the first pic of her....

I hate to be short about this but it is 1AM and everyone has just now left and I promised pics.

Wow....I am a mom of 2 girls in half that the time that it took Bethie to cook lil' Zach!!!!!

Busy, busy, busy!!!

This week is going to be very busy and hectic. We started VBS at Angela's church tonight. It starts at 5:45, which is great when your kid goes to bed at 7:30! Tomorrow I took the day off to clean house, B-O-R-I-N-G, I just can't seem to get Morgan unattached while she is here with me long enough to do anything. Tuesday is the next court date and on top of that I have to take her to Marietta that afternoon for an evaluation that could last hours! If I survive Tuesday without being put into a padded room...then my office is going to the Braves game Wednesday. Sounds fun I know...I won't go into details to bore you with the reasons that it is anything but. Then Thursday I get to meet with the therapist who is going to start seeing Morgan. I am SUPER excited about this!!!! She helped my cousins foster child tremendously! And Thursday is the last night of VBS too! As I am reading this it doesn't sound all that bad, I guess I just know that alot of really important things are going to be happening for Morgan this week. If I don't manage to get a blog up this week I will at least read all of you guys! Keep me entertained and laughing.
