The next one is definitely because I wouldn't let her go out into the driveway and play by herself. See 2 post down where I stated that we couldn't keep her out of the road. So, this is when you can tell a meltdown is coming fast.... there is rubbing of the shirt, head tilted to the side, and the thumb goes in to produce this...

Now, what is so funny about the picture above is look at everyone going on about their normal birthday party business......a party of nothing but former or present foster kids....this is just another day to any foster parent.
Now, shortly after the above picture she realizes that I am not feeling her pain of not being allowed to go outside, so she goes in search of petting.....you can almost see the wheels turning....ummm, Me-Me, nope, where is Aunt Patsy, where is Aunt Patsy......there she is BINGO.....SUCKER!!!!

After a grand total of 4 meltdowns at Chey's party we went to Nana & Papa's and promptly got put down for a nap in Nana's bed.

Oh, don't fear the nap didn't ruin her horrific mood at all. It stayed the rest of the day and on Sunday. She cried and screamed non-stop from 8-11pm Sunday night, ask Ang she heard her!
Then she woke up this morning to birds chirping and sunshine....and this afternoon she was her old happy care-free self. And she went to bed no problems. This is what makes it all worth it....

So glad that she is back to her good moods. Maybe that will last a while. This post was so funny.
This post was a riot, melanie! oh, toddlers are sooo unpredictable, i tell ya! i never know what i am going to get everyday with my Joe. cute pictures!
She looks so sweet, in most all of the pictures, even though I'm sure it was rough on you.
Don't you just love it when they pitch a fit and you don't know why or how to fix it!?!
